Janet Feldstein McKillop is Vice President for Development at The J. Paul Getty Trust, where she directs fundraising strategy and activity for the Trust as well as for the J. Paul Getty Museum, Getty Conservation Institute, and Getty Research Institute.
Prior to joining the Getty in January 2015, she served as director of development and alumni relations at St. Matthew’s Parish School. Before her tenure at St. Matthew’s, she was associate director of major gifts for Stanford University during the $6.2 billion Stanford Challenge campaign and senior associate director for major gifts at Harvard University.
From 2000-2002 she was a research associate at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, where she received her MBA. She has an undergraduate degree in art history, also from Stanford. She began her career as an investment banker with J.P. Morgan & Company.
Janet and her husband and two children live in Pacific Palisades, California.
